Privacy Policy
In short
This website uses no cookies, does not use advertising or third-party analytics services, and loads nothing from other providers (no third-party fonts, maps or videos). For simple visitor statistics, we count page views on our own server – without cookies and without storing your IP address.

Accessing the website
When you visit the site, our server technically needs to process your IP address and your browser information in order to send you the page. To protect against attacks, the server keeps an access log (IP address, time, address requested and result, without further browser details) and deletes it after 7 days at the latest. Addresses that deliberately search for security vulnerabilities are automatically blocked for a limited time. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a functioning and secure website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Visitor statistics (without cookies)
To understand how our website is used, we count visits with a small script of our own. It runs only on our server, sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device. What is recorded is the page viewed, the page you came from, the approximate reading time and – derived from the technical information – device type (mobile, tablet, computer), browser, operating system and approximate location (country and city). Your IP address is used for this only briefly in memory and is not stored. So that we can count visitors, we create an identifier from the IP address, browser information and a random value that changes daily; from it, you cannot be identified, nor recognised the next day. We delete the statistical data after 13 months. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a website that meets needs (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). If your browser sends a "Do Not Track" or "Global Privacy Control" signal, your visit is not counted. Location data: IP Geolocation by DB-IP.
Hosting
The website runs on our own server in the data centre of Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany (location Falkenstein).
Contact by email or phone
If you write to us or call us, we use your details only to answer your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). We delete them as soon as they are no longer needed for this purpose, unless statutory retention periods require otherwise.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Art. 15–21 GDPR). To exercise these rights, simply write to the address given above. You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the authority responsible for your place of residence.
